still life painting process

begin with placement marks.

blocking in the major colors.

concentrating on the symmetry of the vase. I let this layer dry.

painted the blue pattern, it was easy because the underneath layer was dry.

finishing each section at a time. finished the vase in this image.

finished the tomatoes in this image.

finished off the background/table top, and that's it. (the slight color change is due to taking the image with a different camera.)
